I love girly clothes. The girlier the better. If it looks like Joan from MadMen would wear it then I would probably love it. This past week I had the pleasure of shooting the lookbook of the early Spring collection for one of Cleveland’s true gems: clothing store Pinky’s Daily Planner, in Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood. It was in search of aforementioned girly-ness that brought me to Pinky’s. I found myself seeking out the boutique, listed as a design ‘must-see’ in the Cleveland city guide from DesignSponge (one of my favorite blogs for aesthetic inspiration.) I instantly loved the mix of vintage items with recognizable names (StopStaring dresses,) and original designs from Pinky’s Daily Planner owner and resident design maven, Stephanie Fralick. It was during my chat with Stephanie that we decided to collaborate on a lookbook of her Early Spring offerings.

I love the mix of vintage flats with toile clutch-just perfection with this navy StopStaring dress:
Emily looks to me like she walked right out of an early 1960’s advert for something fabulous.
Glasses: model’s own.
I just love the scalloped hemline on this skirt:
Not only were our models amazingly tall, gorgeous, & photogenic, but they were also super fun and silly
I love the versatility of these looks-either could be worn with a cardigan and flats for work. After hours you could switch out the flats for some fabulous heels and a clutch.
The tops in the following series are hand painted-each one is slightly different and original:
Courtney has the world’s prettiest smile. It is also infectious. Just warning you
Pinky’s has a resident guard-cat. He loves tummy rubs.
Stephanie’s original designs for the Pinky’s house label have incredible, one-of-a-kind details:
Even the stylish shopping bags at Pinky’s suggest something of the fun and femininity found in the clothes:
As you can probably tell, I am obsessed with these vintage T-Strap heels:
I had such a blast at my Pinky’s shoot-I can’t to go back and blow my next paycheck on some of the fabulous, beautifully made clothes!
