What do you get when you combine a gorgeous opera singer with her handsome violinist love, throw in a dash of Buck’s County Pennsylvania beauty, an adorable golden dachshund, and capture it all on medium format film?

Why Rachel and Ari’s engagement session, of course!

I’ve known Rachel since the early 90’s when we sang together at Interlochen Arts Camp.  She also may or may not have played my mother in a production of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (Also starring a certain pop/crossover vocals celebrity who shall remain nameless…)  I adore this girl.  She’s one of the best musicians I have ever known and she has met her perfect match in Ari.  This guy is a the real deal.  Ari is constantly smiling this adorable “I’m the luckiest guy in the world smile,” and he’s so laid back and funny you may not realize at first that you are in the presence of one of the most amazing violinists around.   These are two world class people.  It’s bashert

Rachel & Ari, I am so honored to have been the one to capture your day on film…  I love you both like family (in fact, can I adopt your families?) and I wish you the greatest happiness in your marriage!  Have fun in Hawaii, you two gorgeous kids!!!
