This is one of my favorite weddings of 2012 for several reasons:

1.  I had such a blast of a time with Ayelet & Matt during their Philly Engagement session that I couldn’t WAIT to shoot their big day.  I just love these two gorgeous lovebirds and want to find a way to have myself honorarily adopted into their families…

2.  Speaking of birds, I heard that there would be peacocks at this wedding.  Yes.  You read that correctly.  Peacocks.

3.  Their nuptials took place in Long Island right as Hurricane Sandy was rolling in.  Aside from being, well, kind of scary. this led to some of the most beautiful light of all time…  And you know how I feel about light.

And now, for a few pretties from Ayelet and Matt’s luminous Hurricane wedding.  (You may notice several peacocks interspersed in the collection…)

I think Ayelet is one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen…  Her name means ‘gazelle of dawn’ and I think she looks like a beautiful gazelle, no?

She is also one of the most humble, goofy, and lovely people I have had the privilege to meet…  MAJOR girl crush…

Matt is also adorable.. though in more of a manly way and less of a ladylike gazelle kind of way.  He is also the most laid-back and fun groom.

Swoon…

The following image was captured by my brilliant 2nd shooter for the day, the amazing Justin Lee.

I am still dreaming about Ayelet’s beautiful flowers…

One of my favorite images of the season:

I love a details girl!

Ayelet is a cowboy boots wearing lady 365 days a year.  I love that!

A little celebratory, “just married” dance break…

Dear Ayelet and Matt, I wish you two absolute happiness in your married life together!  And lots of dancing!

XOXO,

Arielle
