Seek us in love itself,

Seek love in us ourselves.

Sometimes I venerate love,

 Sometimes it venerates me

One of the highlights of last wedding season was photographing the joyful celebration of Elif & Emeka’s wedding.  Elif is the most elegant and lovely woman.  A moment in her presence and everyone feels a bit more grounded and calm.  She has that effect on people.  This quality, combined with Emeka’s  warmth and kindness makes it easy to see why over 400 people wanted to celebrate their union – they are two of the most genuine, sweet and fun people!

It was my first time photographing a Nigerian – American- Turkish wedding but I’m sincerely hoping it will not be my last.  A few favorites from a spectacular celebration (designed my brilliant dear friend Gina of Shi Shi Events) of two wonderful individuals and three glorious traditions.
